The SPCup is an international competition aiming at promoting real world applications of signal processing amongst undergraduate students . The first phase of the competition was <a href=\"https:\/\/piazza.com\/ieee_sps\/other\/spcup2019\/home\">open to teams of undergraduate students<\/a> and ended on March the 11th 2019, while the final <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.ieeeicassp.org\/program#video-and-image-processing-cup\">took place at ICASSP<\/a> (Birghton, UK) on May the 13th 2019 between the three finalist teams. The data used in both phases was based on the <a href=\"http:\/\/dregon.inria.fr\/datasets\/dataset\/\">DREGON dataset<\/a> which we <a href=\"https:\/\/members.loria.fr\/ADeleforge\/the-dregon-dataset\/\">recently released<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The data of the competition, including the ground truth, evaluation scripts and baseline, are now <a href=\"http:\/\/dregon.inria.fr\/datasets\/signal-processing-cup-2019\/\">publicly available<\/a> on the DREGON website.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the website now hosts <a href=\"http:\/\/dregon.inria.fr\/datasets\/the-spcup19-egonoise-dataset\/\">UAV-embedded recordings of drone egonoise<\/a> that the participants sent. Annotated noise-only recordings from 11 different drones using microphone arrays of 1 to 16 channels are freely available there.
