Optional class assignment

  • If you want, you may choose to do this class assignment by sending me an email before the 30th of January 2020.
  • It will be scored /5, and if you choose to do it (before Jan. 30th), then the score obtained will replace your TP1 score, whatever score you get ! So it’s very risky, and if you already got a score >=35 at TP1, I recommend you not to do this optional class assignment.
  • The first part of the assignment consists in reading this paper at home: https://www.aclweb.org/anthology/Q16-1015.pdf
  • Then, during our last class session on Feb. 5th, you will have 30 minutes to answer a few questions about the paper
  • During these 30 minutes, papers will be allowed, but no computer, phone nor any electronic device will be allowed !
  • The questions will be of the type: “Explain the sentence XXXX in the paper”.
