Current institute and Research
I am a full-time researcher (chargée de recherche) at the French National Institute for Computer Science Research INRIA. I belong to the cryptology team called Caramba which is hosted by the Loria laboratory. I arrived in 2018 in Nancy, a city close to Luxembourg and Germany.
I work on cryptography, at the boundary of mathematics and computer science. I focused on current publick key cryptanalysis and tend to work more and more on historical encrypted messages. That's why I'm heading up the Back In Time project.
Key words: crypatanalysis, public key cryptography, discrete logarithm, finite fields, number field sieve, elliptic curve signatures (ECDSA), side channel attacks, bounded distance decoding problem (BDD), public randomness generation, blockchains, historical cryptology.
Deciphering old documents?
If you are in possession of an encrypted message that you cannot read, you can contact me at the address below. To reply, I need the following information:
- Your status: researcher, institution or private individual? If you are a researcher, what field do you specialise in?
- Do you own the document you are sending me? Where is it currently located?
- Let me know if you know the date, place of writing, language, author and/or recipient of the document you are interested in. I need as much context as possible.
Depending on the situation and the difficulty of the project, the analysis may be subject to an estimate.
