I was born in Tunis --the capital of Tunisia-- in 1957. I spent the first nine years of my life there. Then with my parents we moved to Nice, a southern town of France. I pursued all my secondary studies in Nice. Then in 1978, I moved to Nancy, a north-eastern town of France where I pursued all my university studies. In 1985 I was appointed Lecturer at Henri Poincaré University Nancy I.
