A line-tracker is presented that is flexible and robust. Linepoints are detected locally in order to construct a tracker that can be fast and is able to use knowledge about the line to be tracked. This is especially needed in cases where the line is of poor image quality. An application is shown in which two trackers are combined into a parallel line-tracker.
