I received the M.Eng. degree in Automatic System Engineering from ENSEM (Nancy, France) in 2005 and the M.Sc. degree in Signal Processing from Universit\u00e9 Rennes 1 (Rennes, France) in 2006. I received the Ph.D. degree in Engineering Sciences from the KU Leuven (Leuven, Belgium) in June 2011.<\/p>\n<p>From 2011 till 2012 I was a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven where I worked on multichannel noise reduction algorithms targeting applications for hearing impaired persons. I was then a postdoctoral researcher at \u200bFBK (Trento, Italy, 2013-2014) and at \u200bT\u00e9l\u00e9com ParisTech (Paris, France, 2014-2016) where I worked on machine learning applied to speech processing and sound analysis. From 2016 to 2025an Associate Professor with \u200bUniversit\u00e9 de Lorraine (Nancy, France) doing research on robust speech communications and ambient sound detection and classification. Since September 2025 I am a Professor at Universit\u00e9 de Lorraine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small\">Since 2018, I am the coordinator of DCASE challenge task 4 on \u201cWeakly labeled semi-supervised sound event detection in domestic environments\u201d. <\/span>Since 2019, I am coordinating the DCASE challenge series together with Annamaria Mesaros.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Biography<\/p>\n<p>I was born in Lille, France.
