Research activity
Research domains
My research domains are related to business process management (BPM), middleware to support the execution and the deployment of processes and services and alternative models and supports to coordinate multi-organisations activities in advanced business area involving heavy end-users interactions. This includes issues related to organisational flexibility, security, advanced transaction and synchronisation.
Recent works are related to workflow security, activity coordination in crisis management and business/IT alignment. My research methodology includes technical and theoretical work but also experimental and empirical research to explore the potential impact of new technologies in actual organisations. This also requires the development of advanced prototype that have to be used by end-users.
