Teaching is an important part of my work. I taught during the three years of my doctoral contract as a part-time lecturer (vacataire) at the Institute of Digital Science, Management & Cognition (IDMC). I continued these teachings for a fourth year as a Temporary Research Lecturer (ATER). In four years, I gave 332 hours (TD equivalent) of teaching. I gave lectures, tutorials (TDs and TPs), and created course materials and TDs materials. My students ranged from L1 MIASHS (Mathematics and Computer Science Applied to Human and Social Sciences) to M2 TAL (Natural Language Processing). The languages of instruction were French, and English for the Master’s students.
In 2020-2021, I taught:
- Research methodology, M2 Natural Language Processing and M2 Cognitive Sciences, Research track, in English
- Methods for NLP, M1 Natural Language Processing, TD, in English
- Calculability & Complexity, M1 Natural Language Processing, TD, in English
- Linguistic engineering, L3 Sciences Cognitives, TD, en français
- Formalisms and Representations of Reasonings, L3 Sciences Cognitives, cours et TD, en français
- Advanced algorithmics, L2 Mathématiques et Informatique Appliquées aux Sciences Humaines et Sociales (MIASHS), TD, en français
- Natural Language Processing, L2 Sciences Cognitives, TD, en français
- Algorithmics 1, L1 Mathématiques et Informatique Appliquées aux Sciences Humaines et Sociales (MIASHS), TD, en français
- Algorithmics 2, L1 Mathématiques et Informatique Appliquées aux Sciences Humaines et Sociales (MIASHS), TD, en français
- Algorithmics 3, L1 Mathématiques et Informatique Appliquées aux Sciences Humaines et Sociales (MIASHS), TD, en français
- Digital Tools & Culture, L1 Humanities, TD, en français
In 2019-2020, I gave a Research methodology course (M2 Natural Language Processing and M2 Cognitive Sciences, Research track, in English) to help students to get around the French research system and improve their written and oral academic communication skills. In the second semester, I taught Formalismes et Représentations de Raisonnements (L3 Sciences Cognitives, cours et TD, en français).
In 2018-2019, I gave a Refreshing course in Matrix Calculus (M1 and M2 Natural Language Processing, in English) and I taught Algorithmics (L1 Mathématiques et Informatique Appliquées aux Sciences Humaines et Sociales (MIASHS), TD, en français). In the second semester, I was teaching Formalismes et Représentations de Raisonnements (L3 Sciences Cognitives, cours et TD, en français) and Web Semantics (M1 Natural Language Processing, tutorials, in English).
In 2017-2018, I have been teaching Formalismes et Représentations de Raisonnements (L3 Sciences Cognitives, cours et TD, en français) and Technology and Innovation (M1 Applied Cognitive Sciences, practical tutorials, in English).
