Teaching
As a Teaching Fellow I gave tutored sessions at the Ecole des Mines de Nancy (during my PhD Thesis) on:
- Discrete and Deterministic Optimization (Operations Research): branch and bound methods, simulated annealing, tabu search, genetic algorithms, logic constraint programming...
- Decision Making under Uncertainty (Operations Research): stock management, reliability, maintenance, Petri nets, game theory...
- Computer Science for Industrial Engineering: programming and databases for industrial engineering (with Visual Basic and Access).
As a temporary Assistant Professor, I was responsible at the Faculty of Sciences (Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1) for:
- tutored sessions on initiation to Computer Science,
- course and tutored sessions on unix shell, and
- course and tutored sessions on C programming.
During the first semester 2006, I have been responsible for the "machine learning" part of ANU's "Artificial Intelligence" course.
