The flying coworker (FCW) is an aerial manipulator robot that acts as a team-mate of a human worker and assist him/her during complex tasks, such as transport a long bar or delivering tools in a safe, efficient and acceptable manner. Bringing together the recent progresses in physical and decisional interaction between humans and robots with the control of aerial manipulators. Safety and human-aware perception, decision and interaction robot abilities are at the core of the proposed research.
